  1. Northwoods Adventures......Located in the beautiful Upper peninsula of Michigan. Based in the town of Greenland, (Ontonagon County) which is the western side of the central UP. We offer year round outdoor adventures.  With winter snowfalls averaging over 250", and a record of over 300" (24feet) there seems to be no shortage of snow.

Summer ATVing has much to offer with trails allowing bikes to side by sides. There are expansive areas to explore for the back country rider.

           There are bountiful falls to hike to suit your camping needs. The fall colors are breathtaking with numerous vistas such as Lake of the Clouds in the Porcupine Mtns or local rocky bluffs to explore, often seeing Bald Eagles flying overhead.

 


           Wildlife is in abundance up here in da UP. We have Black bear, cougar, deer, wolves and many other small game animals. Lake Superior is in close proximity and offers great sandy beaches with camping. North-Woods Adventures loves the outdoors and seeks to expand its adventures so if there is something specific you're looking to do up in the beautiful UP drop us a line and we'll see if we can hook you up. Maybe we can refer you to someone else on more specific outings such as diving, charter fishing etc,,,on Lake Superior.
